Meadowblend Co-op

Interested in local animal products that have been humanely raised without hormones, antibiotics, or anything like that?  Join the Meadowblend Co-op!

Based out of the family housing complex and the University of Notre Dame, the Meadowblend Co-op purchases dairy, beef, and chicken products (and occasionally more) from a family farm near Granger, IN.  The goods are of far better quality than what one could buy in a supermarket, but at comparable if not lower prices, and much less than what one would have to pay for similar products at specialty stores and even the farmer’s market (if one could even find such quality products at those places).  Read more on the “About” page.

The co-op is open to anyone in the Michiana area, whether or not one is affiliated with Notre Dame or the University Village.  You just have to be able to pick up the products from the University Village (located just north of the ND campus, at Douglas and the 933), and to be willing to periodically pick up the products from the farm and deliver them to the Village (see the pick-up schedule and directions).

This is a great way to feed yourself and/or your family well, and to support a local farming family!
